Due to popular demand, we are delighted to be able to offer an additional Sixth Form Information Afternoon on Thursday 8th February.
This is particularly aimed at those parents/carers of Year 11 Students who were unable to attend our Sixth Form Open Evening in November.
You are invited for a tour of the school and to hear from our Headteacher Paul Clayton, Head of Sixth Form Hannah Ogden and key members of staff.
Group Tours and opportunities to talk to teaching staff will run 3.30-4.30pm and repeated 5.00-6.00pm. Please secure a ticket to book a tour. The speeches will take place at 4.30-5.00pm.
Guiseley School Sixth Form has a strong reputation for success. This is reflected in our examination results which are consistently above national averages, and our 2023 A Level results were no exception. Our students’ achievements see them move on to a variety of destinations such as higher apprenticeships, college and university courses including Oxford and Russell Group Universities.
We politely ask that you register to attend so that we may monitor how many visitors we can expect. Your QR code tickets will be scanned when you arrive. When booking your place, please ensure that you include the total number of adults and children who will be attending. Please check that your child has not already booked their own ticket via the invitation given to them in school. If you are unable to attend, an online component to the Open Afternoon will be made available on our website https://www.guiseleyschool.org.uk/.
Please be aware that car parking at our school site is limited. Car parking will be available in our two car parks which can be found on Back Lane and Fieldhead Road. If you have any accessibility requirements, we encourage you to contact us before the event on [email protected].
