Teaching Assistant

37 hours per week, Term-time only plus 5 days

Salary scale: B3 (£19,197.00 - £20,643.00)

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Teaching Assistant who will work to support our classroom teachers in providing classroom management within mainstream classes and in our Student Support Centre. The successful candidate will work to provide general support to our Special Educational Needs children, promoting access to learning as directed by the classroom teacher. Being a Teaching Assistant at Guiseley School, no two days will be the same, we need an individual that will understand no two students can be treated exactly the same. Our students are in need of a very special teaching assistant who will support them with an array of complex and challenging behaviours.

We have just moved into our brand new, state of the art buildings and are excited to have opened our new campus in March 2023. There has never been a better time to join Guiseley School.

Salary scales for Guiseley School are part of Leeds City Council’s NJC PayScale’s. Salary information detailed is prorated to reflect the ‘take home’ pay for the successful candidate.

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2024.
