There were many smiling and happy faces at Guiseley School this morning as students celebrated exam success after collecting the all-important envelope that contained the results of their A Level examinations.
The vast majority of grades achieved by students was in the A*-C range, with 10 students achieving straight A*-A grades.
Students will now enjoy the excitement of preparing for their chosen Post-18 destinations, going on to study a variety of different courses such as apprenticeships, specialist centres as well as a wide range of prestigious universities including Cambridge and many Russell Group destinations.
Headteacher Paul Clayton said: “It has been delightful spending time with our students this morning as they received their results and the reward for their hard work. More importantly, it has been lovely to see the students excited about their next steps, with so many achieving the grades they required. They are a wonderful group of young people, and we wish them every success and happiness as they take those next steps.”
