A Level Results Day 2026
There were many smiling and happy faces at Guiseley School this morning as students celebrated exam success after collecting the all-important envelope that contained the results of their A-Level examinations.
The vast majority of grades achieved by students were in the A*-C range, with 14 students achieving straight A*-A grades or equivalent.
Students will now enjoy the excitement of preparing for their chosen Post-18 destinations, going on to study a variety of different courses such as apprenticeships at specialist centres as well as a wide range of prestigious universities including Oxford and many Russell Group destinations.
Director of Sixth Form Hannah Ogden said: “It has been delightful spending time with our students this morning as they received their results. We are immensely proud of our Post-16 students. Today’s results reflect years of dedication, ambition, and hard work. Behind these grades are individual stories of perseverance and personal triumph. More importantly, it has been lovely to see the students excited about their next steps, with so many achieving the grades they required. They are a wonderful group of young people, and we wish them every success and happiness as they take those next steps.”
