Guiseley School is immensely proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our talented students who recently represented England at the prestigious Global Open Dance competition in San Sebastián, Spain.
Dancing as part of a 16-strong team from the local Starlight Academy, our students showcased incredible dedication, technical skill, and passion while competing against world-class dancers from 37 countries. Competing across solos, duets, trios, and group routines, the team brought home a phenomenal haul of awards:
- 3 Gold Medals
- 1 Silver Medal
- 1 Bronze Medal
- 4 Fourth-Place Finishes
- 4 Fifth-Place Finishes
Seeing our students excel in their extracurricular pursuits on an international platform is inspiring. Balancing rigorous training with academic commitments requires extraordinary discipline, and we could not be prouder of their hard work and remarkable success.
