The Guiseley School music department hosted its latest Live Lounge concert on Friday 27th February, drawing a large audience of students to the dining hall for a series of lunchtime performances.
Technical Support
The event’s success relied heavily on the student sound and lighting team, who worked hard rigging the venue. Their efforts ensured the technical side of the concert ran smoothly, providing professional-grade audio and lighting for every act.
Student Performances
The setlist featured a wide range of talent from across all year groups, showcasing the musical diversity within the school. Students performed for their peers to a positive reception, with the crowd providing enthusiastic support for both soloists and bands.
The highlight of the session came from the school’s youngest musicians:
"I'm super proud of all those who performed, not least The Guests, our up-and-coming Y7 band who absolutely raised the roof off the dining hall with two back to back performances! What a way to end the week!"
The event served as a successful showcase of the hard work put in by both the performers and the technical crew throughout the term.
