Big Congratulations to Guiseley School’s Isabella C!
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the fantastic achievement of one of our own! Over the weekend, Isabella represented Yorkshire in the Under 18s County Cup, competing against strong teams from Sussex, Nottinghamshire, and Hampshire & the Isle of Wight.
It was a dominant weekend for the north, with Yorkshire winning 22 out of 26 matches to take the overall title!
Isabella’s Highlights:
Isabella has been attending county training since she was just 12 years old. Her hard work truly paid off as she was one of only eight players selected to represent the county.
Playing in three doubles matches, Isabella won them all comfortably with clinical scores of 6-0, 6-1, 6-2, 6-1, 6-1, and 6-2.
Thanks to these brilliant performances, Yorkshire has officially been promoted to a higher division for next year!
