Guiseley School Students Visit Bronte Parsonage Museum

Guiseley School English students embraced a spooky adventure at Haworth’s Brontë Parsonage Museum, the former home of Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë. Nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors, the Brontë House is now a world-renowned museum preserving the legacy of one of England’s most iconic literary families.

Guided by staff and volunteers, students took part in a hands-on workshop exploring gothic literature, delved into the fascinating lives of the Brontës, and wandered the cobbled streets of Haworth on a walking tour that brought 19th-century history to life.

From the original writing desks to the haunting moorland views that inspired Wuthering Heights, the visit offered a unique glimpse into the creative world of the Brontë sisters. We all hope you had a brilliant time!
