Huge congratulations to Pia, April, Sophie and Lauren from Year 8 who were selected as the Regional Winners of the Census 2021: It's Our Story competition. Their entry will be added to the National Archives catalogue for future generations to look back on.
The census competition very much matched our school's values of care, aspire, grow and succeed. We encouraged our students to find out about the 2021 census as we know that they care about their local community. Students were given the opportunity to enter the competition as a means of aspiring to be their best at a regional or national level. Working together as a team, especially during the period of remote learning, helped each student to grow in so many ways. The students and their teachers are all delighted that they have succeeded with their census competition entry.
