Huge Congratulations to Evie A!
We are absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news with our school community. Our very own Evie has been selected as a finalist in the Leeds Schools Sports Awards 2026! Evie is a finalist for the prestigious Secondary School Individual Award, which recognises outstanding sporting achievements at City, Regional, or National levels.
Evie is a dedicated swimmer and will be training lots of early mornings before this coming Saturday (27th June) where she takes on the North East & West England Open Water Swimming Championships in Manchester.
Evie will be celebrated alongside Leeds' finest young athletes next month. The ceremony will take place on Friday, July 10, 2026, at The Great Hall, Leeds Beckett University (Headingley Campus), with refreshments starting at 4:00 PM followed by the ceremony from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
To be shortlisted as a finalist is a massive achievement and wonderful recognition of all her hard work, early mornings, and determination.
