Our Sixth Form squad delivered a disciplined performance at home last week, earning a hard-fought 3-2 victory against a competitive Horsforth side.
The match was defined by the collective work rate of both teams. Guiseley showed great composure throughout, moving the ball well and converting key chances through clinical team play. Every player contributed to a solid defensive effort that was tested right until the final whistle.
In the closing seconds, Horsforth was awarded a penalty with an opportunity to equalise. The strike clipped the outside of the post, allowing Guiseley to hold onto the lead and secure the win.
