We had a fantastic World Book Day here at Guiseley School, with the staff dressing up and getting in the spirit, along with students decorating form doors with a different book theme per class. Each staff department dressed up as a book and the students had a great time guessing who was who. In the spirit of WBD we also read a full Roald Dahl short story “Lamb to the Slaughter’, over the course of the day, which everyone was gripped by.
