Dear Parents / Carers,
Following on from the landslip near Baildon, you may already be aware that trains to Guiseley from both Baildon and Ilkley will not be running. The service disruption is currently expected to last until 18th March.
Northern Rail are providing a road replacement service that leaves from the station (Shipley) and from the Halfway House on Baildon Road (Baildon). Return bus replacement services from Guiseley leave from the train station car park.
Northern Rail have today sent us the letter below to share with you the outlines the replacement services in more detail.
We will, of course, ensure that students who have their travel to school disrupted by this issue are not sanctioned for delayed arrival. We do encourage you to plan ahead and allow additional journey time if your child will be using the replacement services.
